On Sunday 14th August 2011 I had my 18th Birthday! :D
I started off by having a lovely lie in having stayed up the night before to do a countdown. Even at 5 minutes past midnight my Facebook page was flooded with messages (an email box flooded with emails). Just shows you - the second the summer holidays start, everyone's body clock goes out of the window XD Even a day after my B'Day, Jess and Emma who are currently in Japan send belated wishes blaming the time difference.
I was happy to see that the living room was decoarated with a banner and balloon. My cards soon dotted the mantlepiece, fireplace and any other avaliable surface. I got a cool sash (preparing for Teen Queen I suppose) and a pair of teeny boppers. The downside to this was that they were so fluffy and feathery that my kitten Jack Forst jumped on the table, took them off my head, ran away with them and began to eat them. So unbelievably CUTE >_< He has since moved onto bigger prey and caught a large moth earlier this afternoon.
I got loads of cool presents such as money (I am slightly less poor now XD) and Japanese perfume which smells heavenly. I love perfume so much T_T I got a fantastic cross-stitch tapestry from a neighbour/family friend who also has pug dogs. It took her a year to make and it is so beautiful! One one the kimonos in it looks like the one I wore for Kawaii Star Of The Year :D
My family members came round for cake and champagne. Our next door neighbour makes me a delicious chocolate cake each year, so we had that and.... Hello Kitty cake! Complete with bow and Hello Kitty candles. It felt weird having to open two packs to get the right ammount. Lighting them was a bit of a chore, but thanks to all those breath control lessons in Drama and Singing, I blew them out with one well-controlled puff. I can't tell you my wish though ;)
When I took the candles out of the cake it looked more like a tortured Holey Kitty than the mascott we all know but it sure tasted delicious! I had two slices of cake - one from each and thoroughly enjoyed drinking (admittedly I dilluted it with sparkling water) champagne! Now I can do things legally like buy alcohol (although I'm not much of a drinker) and check into hotels on my trips to London :)
I had a great walk in the woods because the weather was so nice and sneakily filmed a new dance for my youtube channel. I'm happy with the way it's growing and how many views and lovely comments I am getting. I've stopped ratings and video comments so I won't have any trouble with haters (hopefully) and I am watching the subscriptions stack up.

I had a fantastic day! Certainly one of my, if not the best Birthday I've had! I will definitely enjoy being 18. To finish, here is a picture of Jack Frost, my cute kitten :D

Photoshoot And Theme Park
Many interesting things have happened since my last post. Firstly - my photoshoot pictures arrived! I went on Wednesday August 3rd 2011 to have my portfolio updated and found a photographer who was willing to do the pictures for free if he could use them for his own personal career purpose. Sweet deal ;). Anyway, they came on two CDs yesterday and I wanted to share some with you. I had an awesome hairdressser and make up artist and both the photographer and his assistant were very patient and friendly. I had so much fun modelling the clothes! I'm very happy with the results as well.
This is me in a prom dress (an evening / formal wear photo is usually very handy to have). There are also some more creative ones...
Don't I have a funny back? XD
And now for some Lolita :D (I'll restrain myself from putting up all the photos)!
Above is ALL Bodyline (I love that website shop so much T_T) except the headband which I got in the Panda Shop in the Trocadero.
The next picture is of me in my Baby, The Stars Shine Bright outfit that I won in the Kawaii Star Of The Year 2011 contest at Hyper Japan. I got the JSK, blouse and headbow. I bought the ice cream necklace at one of the stalls there though :D The socks and shoes are Bodyline.
One last one.... there!
Anyway, next I'd like to say that this is my 5th blog post - HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOG! I'm really enjoying posting and will definitely carry on!
Also, I sorted out my youtube channel (finnythewise) yesterday aswell, so now it has a nice background and no spam :)
Today, as my brother came back from Wales we (he, my grandmother and I) went to Chesington World Of Adventures which was a lot of fun! My favourite rides were Rattlesnake and Black Lagoon (the queues were too long for Dragon Falls -__-) and seeing all the animals was lovely. I especially loved the meerkats and the sea lion show. I also won keyrings in the shape of food (hooray) and sweets in the penny pusher machines!
Nest time I go, I would like to feed the lorekeets as they are adorable and I love birds so much!
A quick shout out before I go - I'm raising money for The MAD Foundation - a charity which helps people in some of the worlds poorest countries. I get the chance to do this with publicity and all because I am in the finals of Teen Queen UK 2011 (live on September 2nd). I am doing many things including a second hand book sale and doing a sponsored cycle of 847 miles (Lands End to John O'Groats distance). Please donate for no extra costs online on my page - www.justgiving.com/RebeccaAttridgeTeenQueen - anything from a penny to pounds would be helpful. Thank you very much :) If you donate in the month of August 2011, and I raise a lot I may also have the chance to visit Ghana :D
That's all I can think of. Hope you enjoyed reading. Finny OUT! ;)

Sleepover, Dim Sun And Karaoke!
As it was my friends 17th Birthday on 5th August, we celebrated by having an amazing time at our local mall with Wagamamas for a late lunch and then playing in the arcade :D I love the grabbing machines and managed to win two adorable cupcake plushies which are now sitting on my bed with the other toys I had previously won - my bed is getting pretty full; soon there won't be any room for me! XD
When we got back to her house there was present opening (I'm really glad she enjoyed mine) and general goofing around. As she is going to Japan very soon we had a mini practise of useful words and a general listening session to bands and singers such as GACKT. I was also introduced to a youtube video called "Scary Mycroft Poppins" which is a parody featuring the cast of Sherlock. It made me laugh so hard :)
General TV wataching whilst eating pizza meant that I'd seen episodes of Miranda and QI whilst having a good joke with the girls. Some people had to go home as they couldn't sleep over but I'd see a few of them tomorrow. However, everyone got to experience the tardis shaped cake! Happy Birthday to you Jessica!
Getting to bed (in my new M&M pajamas) was hard, although my host was nice enough to provide me with an electric fan to keep my abnormally high body temperature down. By the time I had got comfy (and played a round of the Dating SIM "Date Warp") it was 3am! Considering that we had to be in London by 12 noon the next day I tried my best to count sheep.
Amazingly - I got up and was ready first the next day! I am a notorious night owl (severely NOT a morning person) and I have very low blood pressure when I get up. Being used to late nights and early mornings however must have given me the edge ;) Breakfast was fun - I accidently cut the flap to the orange juice open wrong so it was an experience pouring the liquid and also I had a mini box of cornflakes and toast :D Who says I eat too much?
We caught the train and got on our way. The journey was livened up by the hilarious guard announcer. As there was a sporting game on that day, the train was packed and he kept on reminding everyone to move up and sit down whilst including fun similies such as "I know it's like a tin of sardines in here but what did you expect?" Then when a man with a bicycle got on he exclamied "You! With the bicycle! We have six bikes on here and we are only supposed to have two, please get off. Didn't you hear or are you just ignoring me? Leave the train! Fine, don't listen but it's your fault if you get in trouble!" Very amusing stuff.
We met up with everyone in Chinatown for an awesome lunch of Dim Sun! I got some lovely presents from those who I wouldn't be seeing for a while (as it was my birthday soon aswell) including a massive homemade cookie, a mini Hello Kitty, some chocolate, jellybeans and a small bottle of Jacobs Creek. I will certainly have a taste on my Birthday!
The restaurant was very beautiful with loads of traditional deocrations and we were even seated on one of those tables with a rotating middle! Being the frugal person I am, I passed on Chinese Tea, however I did enjoy using the teapot to pour everyone elses XD The food was delicious - I especially enjoyed my egg tarts and custard rolls.
Karaoke time! We went to The Karaoke Box in Soho and got given a room with comfy sofas and two microphones. Left to our own devices we started choosing songs! Kicking off with Bad Romance and Fireflies, everyone was having a great time singing along and eating the massive cookie! When I nipped to the loo I could hear our group sing from down the corridor. We certainly were energetic! We even brought Hello Kitty along to enjoy the atmosphere! The songs we sung included Kiss You Off, I predict a riot, Valerie, River Deep Mountain High, Someone like you, Poison, Those Magic Changes, Keep Holding On, Cabaret, 9 to 5, Dancing In The Moonlight and Rock Your Body to name a few. For two hours it was a very reasonable price and we left thoroughly happy, if a bit blinded by the sudden sun after the darkened room. I remembered to warm up this time, so my throat wasn't as bad as some of the others, although it felt strangely quiet back on the street.
Here is where our party divided. Some left and went to the Maids Of England Maid Cafe event whilst Jess, Emma and I went back to Chinatown for some light shopping an to use the PuriKura photobooth - with hilarious results. I personally like the picture with the crazy hair and a mini Naruto saying his catchphrase on Jess' shoulder XD
It was such an awesome day finished off my playing card games like Cheat and Rummy on the train home with Jess' Kingdom Hearts Playing Cards Pack she got in Chinatown Market. I had also got some mochi which was a delicious snack on our way back to normality.
That's about all. It's my 18th Birthday in a week (scary!) and I should be recieving the pictures from the photoshoot soon. Thanks for reading and have an awesome day :D

London Day And Legally Blonde
For my Birthday (on the 14th August) my family took me for a treat - an afternoon in London followed by the evening showing of Legally Blonde on August 1st!
First, I went to the trocadero where there are loads of awesome things! I picked up some manga in Tokyo Toys for me to read on the train home. :) The Panda shop had moved to a bigger store, so I had a great time browsing all of the cute panda items - even a giant dress up panda head! <3
Then we wnt to Leicester Square for a snack and found... M&M WORLD! It was so cool! M&M merchandise was everything from cooking untensils to T-shirts to the sweets themselves! There were lots of fun places for photos and everyone, both tourist and local, seemed to enjoy it. It's an amazing place and I throroughly recommend a visit. On one floor there is an M&M mix and match station where you can get a back and decide which colours and which flavour (chocoloate or peanut) you want. Simply place you bag under the chute and pull the lever and watch the goodies tumble in :) There were themed chutes such as red, white and blue UK M&Ms and specific colours - including 5 types of blue: Teal, Sky Blue, Navy, Light Blue and Dark Blue. I filled my bag with peanut and chocolate, choosing shades of pink, green and white/silver! I had a little malfunction with one lever having more M&Ms than I wanted fall in, but I didn't mind paying extra as they were all so yummy! <3
I got some really fun gifts for people and souvenirs for me including a golf ball, some M&M pajamas, my bag of fantastic hand picked colours, a mug, some highlighters and a portable dog walking water bottle. I also took loads of pictures of the displays and the awesome things for sale. It was such a bright and colourful place you couldn't help but smile! :D
A quick trip to China Town where I got my friends birthday present! I love the shops there, and I even got a Hello Kitty dressed in a macaroon costume phone charm from a capsule machine. I love those things so much!
We had dinner on the Strand in a funky restaurant where they had very liberal paintings, funny laughing waiters and tropical fish :D I had a quick walk and look at the roads' shops beforehand and found an inflatable Dalek!
After that it was into the theatre which was so cool - as it's next to the Savoy Hotel, The Savoy Theatre had all of these posh cars gathering outside; I certainly spotted a Limo and a Rolls Royce! There was even a man who was paid to wear a nice suit and greet people when they got close to the doors XD
The show was fantastic! Very entertaining and they songs were so catchy. I now have the music score so I can use some of the musical numbers in future auditions and shows. I also got a funky Bruiser the chihuahua T-shirt after seeing the cute dogs onstage! They got the biggest cheers and applause at the end!
I had a fantastic day out and can't wait until August 3rd where I am having a photoshoot - in Lolita clothes!
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post. Keep on reading and having more fun with Finny!
